Birgess’s first job was dressing as the Statue of Liberty at a bagel shop opening. Today, she leads the B Line Events team in delivering clients the bandwidth, expertise and speed they need to produce information- packed, inspiring, insta- worthy experiences while staying within a budget. B Line Events has produced hundreds of events around the globe ranging from 10- 20,000 in since 2004.

Birgess brings a sense of community and unique energy to her company where the average employee tenure is 9+ years. She is a hugger, not a hand-shaker, but that doesn’t stop her from negotiating a solid contract.
When she’s not working, you can find her leading a Girl Scout troop, hitting a flea market or enjoying a family meal not cooked by her, but by husband (Jim Angelus of Bacon Bacon fame) with her two precious daughters.

Elizabeth has been with B Line since it’s early beginnings, and has worn all of the hats. Elizabeth manages B Line’s operations and loves the challenge of keeping both our clients and the B Line team happy. She is a glass half-full kind of gal and tries to find the good in every situation. Elizabeth can take on a surprising amount of tasks while maintaining an upbeat, even-keeled attitude that makes her a calming force at any event. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves to cook, travel and read, and can be found on adventures around the city with her two kids, dog and husband.

Ashley’s known what she’s wanted to be when she grew up since the 1991 movie, Father of the Bride. Profoundly driven, Ashley flourishes in B Line’s self-managed environment where her creativity blossoms. Ashley can tackle the challenge of an “out of the box” program while her love of spreadsheets and micro organizing makes her an asset to any program. She holds a degree in Events Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and has fifteen+ years of diverse event experience working in the non-profit/ fundraising space, venue management, high-end catering and meeting/event production. Outside the office, she loves to travel the world, cook, read, hike, brunch and spend time with her husband and two kids.

Olivia brings years of creativity and experience in managing large-scale events, and has a background in non-profit work and community organization. She combines her passion for producing in person events and virtual experiences with an expert eye for design detail and an unmatched ability to tie up loose ends. In her free time she helps curate That What She Said SF™ a San Francisco-based monthly event for women and is also a co-founder of PATRIACT, both heavily invested in women’s rights and the immigrant experience. She’s originally from Paris, France resides in San Francisco, and enjoys a sunny park day or wine country weekend with friends.

To say Steffen is a go-getter is an understatement. He’s up working before some folks go to bed. He supports B Line Events’ audio and visual needs with his organizational and managerial superpowers. He has worked in the music industry for over 30 years with many well-known artists (including “Beastie Boys DJ” Mix Master Mike, Jane’s Addiction and more recently Narada Michael Walden), but also as Technical Director and Producer for dozens of corporate clients and NPOs.

Steffen is old-school tech meets tomorrow’s A/V solutions. His deep understanding of sound, lights, video, stage management, broadcasting and on-site direction and production makes him an amazing asset to any team.
